Challenge: Enlist residents’ help to audit neighbourhood streets to identify issues and challenges to making them more pedestrian friendly. Issues range from safety, navigation, landscaping, and lighting. Methods of data collection ranged from online tools, group walkabouts, and paper audit tools.

Outcomes: A street audit map with data identifying specific locations in need of attention as well as potential upgrades to make streets safer and more useable from a pedestrian perspective.
