Challenge: Understanding neighbourhood character in a historic neighbourhood and to set parameters for the evaluation of future development. Employing streets audits, surveys and mapping, PlanLocal was used to assist neighbourhood residents in learning about and framing the rules around development in their community.

Outcomes: The model of street audit developed in the project has been adopted by the municipality as a frame for evaluating development in the neighbourhood.
