When the City of Hamilton developed a Master Plan for future improvements to a important neighbourhood park, the local neighbourhood association wanted resident feedback on how to make the park better. Residents were asked to use a PlanLocal interactive Crowdmapper to record comments, concerns or ideas to improve the park. The Crowdmapper allowed residents to pick a location on a map of the park and submit comments, ideas or suggestions (including photos). As results were submitted, they were reviewed for spam and personal information removed before posting publicly allowing all residents to see the ongoing conversation. The results were aggregated and organized before being submitted.
